Which classes are playable now?

Brawler, Mage and Shadow are the three classes listed in the developer's current Early Access Q&A on Steam, checked 20 September 2026. The broader six-class description is not a list of six presently selectable classes. Older guides call Mage “Magician”; the official website uses that name too.

Mage / MagicianThe official presentation combines elemental magic and weapon combat.Read spell attribute requirements rather than assuming every spell is immediately usable.

Race and class are separate choices

Choose a race alongside your class. The current published races are Human, Elf and Minotaur; see the race comparison. Do not use an NPC's equipment as evidence for a playable race's weapon restrictions.

The class selection guide explains how to evaluate your first loadout. This page is the roster reference, not a measured damage ranking.

Three classes now versus six in the wider design

Steam's general description presents eight races and six classes, while its more specific Early Access Q&A lists three of each. We use that current-state Q&A for availability. Missing classes, release dates for them and final balance are not confirmed by this page.

What makes a useful build comparison?

  1. Start with options actually visible in your installed build.
  2. Check the requirements and cost of each equipped spell.
  3. Practice an attack, a defensive action and a spell against the same encounter.
  4. Change one part of the loadout at a time so you can understand the difference.

This is a comparison method, not a claim of hands-on testing or a tier list. Continue with spells and loadouts or getting started.
